I wonder as to why people are not conscious of their
peculiarities and absurdities, affect to disguise what they
are and set up pretensions to what they are not.
Lord Byron in a similar vein observes, we do not
'feel we are not ,
What we have been ;and to deem
We are not what we should be; and to steel
The heart against itself; and to conceal,
With a proud caution,love or hate or aught-
Passion or feeling,purpose,grief or zeal,
Which is the tyrant spirit of our thought,
Is a stern task of soul! No matter, it is taught.'
A very great Saint of Tamilnadu Ramalingaswamigal
known as VALLALAR said that it is better not to
develop relationship with those whose thoughts (which
are inward) and speeches (which are outward) are incongruent.
Such a situation gives rise to a corresponding
life style. Eventhough, we have the ability to
'know a hawk from a handsaw', we ignore the
peculiarities and absurdities of others with whom
we interact. What for we ignore? It is because we
want to win rewards, or it is because we want not
to allow peace to go into pieces? Ultimately. we
make the right wrong and wrong right.

Time and tide wait for no man. Time is said to be the essence of a contract. The dawn and dusk are time bound. In other words, there is a limit to everything. But the ingenuity of man, courtesy, the Almighty, is endless.I can only wish that time favours you in your 'wild goose chase'
